How and Why To Sleep Better
33% of adults worldwide are sleep-deprived.
In 2014, the CDC labeled sleep deprivation a public health epidemic—with over 70 million adults suffering from a sleep disorder. It's been linked to depression, ADHD, obesity, Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and Alzheimer’s. At this point, a good night’s rest is more of a dream than a reality. Despite the growth of the sleep industry, educating ourselves on the effects of losing sleep may be our only hope to develop better sleeping habits.
